The error code "i30" on the dishwasher indicates a water leak inside the machine. This code is triggered when the water protection switch on the bottom of the dishwasher detects a leak. When an error code occurs, the code will be displayed on the machine's screen or a three-beep will sound. In addition, the drain pump of the machine is constantly running.
NB! In the case of an I30 error message, it is particularly important until the technician visits. close machine water tap!
Here are some possible reasons why error code i30 may appear:
- Door seal damage or dirty door seal. If the dishwasher door or the door seal is damaged or dirty, water can leak into the bottom of the machine and trigger alarm.
- Too much foam: Excessive dishwashing detergent or foam can cause water to collect in the bottom of the machine. Check that you are using the correct type and amount of detergent. If the i30 error code occurs after a new detergent has been used, it is quite likely that the fault is caused by excessive foaming.
- Pump or drain problems. If the pump or drainage system is blocked or defective, it can lead to water leakage.
- Clogged filter. Water no longer passes through the clogged filter at a sufficient speed and therefore leaks through the internal channels of the dishwasher to the bottom of the machine and activates the i30 error message.
- Mains valve failure. In the event of a valve failure, the water level in the dishwasher will rise even when the dishwasher is switched off. NOTE! If you disconnect the dishwasher from the mains, there is a risk of flooding. Be sure to close also by machine water tap!
If error code i30 occurs, it is recommended to check the points above first. If the problem persists or is difficult to determine, it is wise to call our technician to perform a more thorough diagnosis and repair.
